Worldwide Currencies Limited is fully authorised by the Financial Services Authority under the Payment Services Regulations 2009, registration 525361, for the provision of payment services.

Worldwide Currencies is also a registered MSB with HM Revenue & Customs - reg no: 12242572

Worldwide Currencies are members of the IAMTN (International Association of Money Transfer Networks)

Security of Funds

When paying for a trade with Worldwide Currencies Limited your funds are held either in pooled client trust bank accounts or are held at one of our counterparties as cash in transit or collateral to meet our obligations relating to clients’ trades. Funds can be used to fulfil the contractual obligations of our clients but will never be anywhere other than, in the segregated client accounts, with our banking counterparties or in transit i.e. being sent. It is worth noting that Companies who are registered by the FSA, but not authorised, are not obliged to segregate client funds.

Insurance

Worldwide Currencies have up to £1,500,000 cover each for Direct Financial Loss, Civil Liability, and Directors and Officers Liability Insurance with Liberty International Underwriters.

Data protection

Worldwide Currencies operate under the Data Protection Act and hold any personal date in accordance with the principles of that act. Personal data shall be obtained only for specified and lawful purposes, and shall not be further processed in any manner incompatible with that purpose or those purposes. Personal data shall be adequate, relevant and not excessive in relation to the purpose or purposes for which they are processed. Personal data shall be processed fairly and lawfully and will never be passed on to or used by a third party.
